Stayed here before a flight. Great location for the airport. We arrived later than the 21:30 check-in time but there was no issue. The room is a little old and the carpet a bit sticky. The bathroom is alright but not spotless. For the price and location - great place and would stay again

I stayed for one night in order to greet a family member at Gatwick airport. Quasim greeted me at reception and gave lots of useful information that made my stay seemless. The room was excellent. As a former guest house owner in Bath, I would highly recommend Lawn guest house.

First class accommodation so close to Gatwick Airport. Always a friendly welcome from the owner, Quasim. Very quiet location. Large rooms with modern bathroom, excellent quality towels and bed linen. Continental breakfast is more than adequate before a flight. Highly recommended

This hotel is noted as being a 4 star but, having personnaly worked in a 4 start hotel I was kind of surprised that there is only one person working there and taking care of all the functions (from shuttle service, check-in to cooking breakfast). At first we were promised airport pickup only to be told a day in advance that the pick-up cannot happen during certain times as the owner is picking his kids from school... Upon arriving, we checked in and the owner was nice but when we got to the room, I noticed that there were spots on the sheets, I am assuming they didn't wash off but it was a bit of a shock. The toilet paper holder was slightly broken and kept sliding downwards (I fixed it back in proper position 4 times over a 2 nights stay). There was also only a roll and a half of toilet paper for 2 nights in a shared room, it was sufficient as we spent very little time in the hotel but still. There is also no housekeeping or freshening up of the rooms during the day, I understand I didn't take the breakfast as I had other appointments but the coffee I was served had a grounds in it... The little wooden canopy in the garden had massive spider webs in it, making it impossible to enter when I was seeking shelter from the rain while waiting for my cab. Also, the cabs don't seem to know about this hotel as all the cabs I've ordered had a hard time finding the place and kept being directed elsewhere by their GPS, despite me giving them the exact name and address of the hotel. Based on the above and a quick review on what constitutes a 4 star hotel rating, I believe this should be corrected to reflect the actual condition of the hotel. The owner was nice and amicable, the room was pretty and had amenities such as a coffee/tea set-up but the other points do need to be addressed. Food & drinks: My friends told me that you couldn't ask for 3 eggs at breakfast, the limit is 2 eggs per person which seems a bit restrictive and I think some people might have a problem with. Even if someone orders breakfast without eggs you cannot get more than 2 (that is what happened to my friends when they were having breakfast).

Not up to 4 star standards… Breakfast only at short notice and early. Stained pillowcase and sheets with holes... Toilet seat as worn as possible, you could hardly see the original color anymore... Mold/limescale on the shower head and mold on the ceiling in the bathroom… To avoid if you are looking for a good standard hotel.

Great room in a good location. 5 minute walk to Horley High Street. Room, and the entire facility, was spotlessly clean and nicely decorated. Check-in and reception was fast and staff was friendly and helpful. We will be back next time we fly in or out of LGW.

I have been working with Quasim for 8 years now and knowing his work ethics, hard working and dedicated mentality when it comes to serving his clients second to none! when he first called me to get my interior design services as Studio G Interior design. We worked on many areas in his Boutique hotel style B&B. Not only public spaces we worked on but also we created the designer room that showcasing carefully picked designer furniture and design. he definitely picked designer bug and became design affectionate!

I booked this accommodation as we need to leave our car at the accommodation before an evening flight - leaving our car for a fortnight - and stay the night on our return from holiday. Qasim was very helpful with this request as many other …

I’m so glad I booked this guesthouse. I was travelling alone and felt 100% safe. The room was beautiful, immaculately clean and very quiet considering how close I was to Gatwick. The check in was smooth, the host was so polite, kind and considerate, I’d definitely stay again.

Our twin room was on the first floor overlooking the front yard. No lifts or help provided with luggage to the upper level.||Room size was adequate for us as we are not big in stature. This room maybe a bit cramped for those needing more …
