What a fantastic service from Dan. Called him in the morning with an emergency lock change and Dan came on his way home and changed the lock. I Used Dan a couple of years ago and had his number in my phone (you just never know when you need a locksmith) Professional, understanding and really knows his stuff. Dan responded to an internet booking promptly. He quoted for a job of opening an outside door that lacked a key and had availability within the next day and beyond. He was extremely friendly and gave us tips and advice on other ways to keep tabs on our home security and on features to look for in new doors. Dan returned promptly to do the work quoted for, but it turned out to be a much more difficult job than initially anticipated. Awesome service just when we needed it... can see why Dan is so highly recommended locally. We were broken into early morning. Following a Police report I was anxious to get someone in to replace our 2 front door locks. Dan responded quickly to an out of hours message and was with us as promised at 0930. Within an hour he'd installed replacement locks so we could start getting back to normality. His charges were extremely reasonable and a fraction of what the 24/7 nationals would have charged us. Thank you Dan, not only for attending to us so promptly and empathetically but also for your other tips and advice to deter would-be intruders in future.

Such a great experience, Dan popped in over the weekend to look at broken lock on back door. Was professional throughout and didn’t feel under any pressure during the visit, wasn’t 100% sure of the issue but took lots of photos and drew diagrams to go away and research. Came back today and after a very temperamental door it was finally open for the first time in a good 2 months. Didn’t have the required parts and made my property safe and went away to source the parts and planned to visit the following week. After an hour or so Dan called to say he had the part and returned an hour later to fit. I was delighted to finally have it sorted, Dan also looked at my window which I thought was broken. Fantastic professional service with great attention to detail. Dan was very flexible when I had to change my appointment at the last minute and then so methodical and patient whilst replacing a somewhat awkward lock. His skill and diligence in doing the job properly was commendable - he took no shortcuts and honoured the fixed price quote despite the door posing several challenges. Just had Dan visit us today to replace the front and back door locks . Dan was extremely friendly and professional from the get go. Front door was done it what felt like a few minutes - he certainly knows his stuff! He didn't have the correct size lock (or replacement handle which was requested by us rather last minute) for the back door but had fitted a new temporary lock in the mean time. He's been clear and ensured he'll be in touch as soon as the correct size lock and handles arrive to arrange another visit to finish the back door. Very knowledgeable - Dan explained the new locks thoroughly to us, including registering them to activate the manufacturer's warranty, and discussing servicing options too. We also had some additional issues with our door frames and Dan was helpful enough to recommend a company that may be able to help. Highly recommend! Fantastic service all around, will be using RLM Locksmiths for as long as we're in their service area.
